Frank Cuervo was born Frank Antonio Cuervo Palacio in Medellìn, Colombia, South America. His exotic looks are attributed to his Inca and Spanish origin.
He was exported at a very early age to the United States. Not smuggled in a coffee sack on a banana boat, he was actually flown in a jet plane to Kennedy Airport!
After initially facing culture shock in Elmhurst, Queens, his parents decided to make the move to Long Island. There Frank decided to earn his own way through diverse jobs, including: Selling newspapers, picking up garbage on the Long Island Expressway, cleaning bathrooms in office buildings and making notebooks in an assembly line.
Despite English being his second language, Frank graduated high school with a NY State Regents diploma and eventually moved to “the big city”, where he became a Computer Programmer-Operator at Lane Bryant’s headquarters in Manhattan. A year later he was fired because he refused to wear a button-down shirt and tie. Realizing that the “Corporate World” was not for him, he then decided to travel the planet. In Milano, Italy he happily learned that he could make money by virtue of his very “particular look” and great smile.
He now resides in New York City, ever ready for the next amazing opportunity to display his abundant talents on TV or in film.
